Cheryl Fisher
Cheryl Fisher’s prior experience representing insurance companies, healthcare professionals and coal operators brings a unique perspective to clients pursuing their rights against those types of entities. Cheryl practiced as a defense lawyer for 14 years, and since 2008, has been focusing her practice on victims of medical malpractice and those who have been mistreated by their own insurance company. Having intimate knowledge of the way insurance companies and healthcare professionals approach litigation and evaluate claims provides a significant benefit to Tiano O’Dell clients and helps them achieve the justice they deserve.

Putting defense experience to work for injury victims
Cheryl grew up in Ohio but has been practicing law in West Virginia for her entire professional career. She graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration. She attended the University of Cincinnati College of Law and graduated in 1993. Since 1993, Cheryl has been admitted to practice law in West Virginia’s state and federal courts. Cheryl has achieved favorable verdicts and settlements for her clients in numerous trials in many different court venues in West Virginia.
In an effort to give back to the community, Cheryl has utilized her law degree to protect clients who could not afford legal representation. Cheryl has participated in West Virginia’s Volunteer Lawyers for the Poor and has represented clients seeking protection and refuge from violent abusers. Cheryl has also participated in West Virginia’s State Bar Referral Service.
